Although there have been Jews in Cuba since the days of Columbus, the first recorded organization of the Jewish community is in 1906, when a group of eleven American Jews living in Cuba founded the United Hebrew Congregation in Havana. more

Nearly 100 Jewish young adults from across the United States gathered outside San Francisco recently for the fourth biannual "Mitbachon" retreat for Russian-speaking 25-35 year olds. Organized by the Jewish Agency for Israel, in partnership with local Federations, the retreat focused on Jewish peoplehood and gave participants the chance to learn, network and build community.  Click here for more information.
